10 things i hate about you

Some of the binary oppositions were Popular vs Unpopular, Old vs Young and Rich vs poor.

A girl had a old rusty car whereas a group of girls had new shiny cars. Mise en scene is being used to show us that one is poor and the other is more wealthy. Also the wealthy girls listened to pop music whereas the other girl was listening to rock. This also shows us that sound is being used to separate both groups and show us that they're different.

 

 

Mise en scene is also being used to separate old and young. We can see that binary opposition is being used as we can see that the teacher is wearing smartly dressed and the student is wearing causual dull clothes
