This is the trailer for Fred The Movie
The film depicts the journey that Fred goes on in his attempt to get Judy to come to his house and sing with him.Fred is met by a variety of obstacles which could stop him reaching his goal like the neighbourhood bully,Judy moving and getting on the wrong bus.Then he finds himself stuck and unable to find his way to Judy's house, throughout his journey he comes across different things which he was like to say and do when he meets Judy.Eventually Fred finds himself stuck in a dilema when he travels across town , becomes lost and the only way for him to get to Judy house is to face his fears;which means going through the forest.Once he has conquered his fear he finds Judy's house and attempt to suprise her but it does not go to plan.
Personally i didn't like this film because i found the jokes to be to immature and found Fred's voice particularly annoying,for this reason i think the film is aimed at younger teens because people of my age or older will not find this film entertaining.This film followed some of the usual conventions of a teens film, being set in a school for the first scene sets for the rest of the film.The characters also fit particular stereotypes there most of the other teens in the film are the cool kids, Judy is the most attractive girl in school who is the most popular and Fred is the loner with no friends who struggles with fitting in.Moreover someone the other characters also fit the conventions of teen movies such as the parents who don't really care about their children and the over caring ones ;along with a bully who makes fun of the loner.One thing I did like about Fred the movie was the opening because it was unusual it was filmed like it as at a webcam and Fred breaks, down the forth wall as Fred talks directly into the camera,there are also a large amount of changes in the camera angles and shot types.Then there is cross cutting to pictures of Fred's house and his school.The non diagetic music is very fast and upbeat ,which makes the audience excited about what will happen next.

Film 2:Prom
The prom is a comedy Drama which is about creating the prom for the students of an American high-school.The film follows the usual conventions of being set in a high school but most of the normal, stereotypes are not in place.There are only a few such as the jock the most popular boy who has a pick of the females in the school and the younger boys look up to, there is also the most popular girls who all the boys like and their is often a slow motion edit whenever they enter the scene.This is done to highlight that all the attention is on them and all the other characters are irrelevant.Within the film there is also the outsider, the person who chooses to be different and disagrees with most of the other studentsa and the brain who has a number of great awards and achievements.There is also the loner who has little friends,struggles to talk to people and is unknown;this character struggles to find someone to take to the prom.
The binary oppositions of within Prom are Parents vs Teens, this is because the parents often interfear with the teens lifes and think they are doing the best thing for them,which often results in the teens rebeling.Another is Good vs Bad the the popular boy in the film is cheating on his girlfriend and lies to her she is unaware until she catches him;the girl who he is cheating with agress to a date with another boy which really likes her but lets him down because the popular boy asks her out.
